Just a quick preview of my current card project. I have been inspired to start a shop on Etsy. I am in the process of making a fresh bunch of cards to start stocking it with...jewelry, and other offerings to follow.

Welcome to my little corner on the web... This is where I will post my current creative attempts, musings, and occasional randomness. After hemming and hawing for a few days about what to call this blog, I finally decided on "Crafting from the Corner". This is rather appropriate, a play on the phrase 'craft corner' and my actual crafting situation. I did have at one time a lovely craft room, but once the husband decided to incorporate and become self-employed, he needed an office and my craft room was invaded, and eventually taken over. I now find myself crafting from whatever corner of space I can carve out for myself in the house, on a portable table from Ikea, and my bag of paper, tools, beads...whatever I need for my current little project.

Having said all that, it hasn't stopped me from creating...its just scaled things down to smaller projects. So no quilting for the moment, though thoughts of a totally hand pieced, and hand quilted quilt are dancing through my mind. Winter IS approaching, and a project to work on while watching TV in front of the fire is a nice idea. We'll see what develops.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my postings...I am open to all constructive criticism and help.
